My youngest, 13, is going through this right now. It’s so hard because like you state I can’t make him do anything, he has to want to get better. All of the advice I have been given so far, is the standard variety that doesn’t work. Him thinking that he is a failure at 13 and being unable to help him see otherwise is the hardest part.
